Location - North Powys
About the role:
This is an exciting opportunity to work as an Occupational Therapist in the Occupational Therapy Team in North Powys. We are a friendly and supportive team. Your role will be to assess people’s needs and provide advice, equipment, and adaptations in people’s homes to support them to live independently and safely.

• Willingness to learn and develop your practice.
• Commitment to providing an excellent service.
• Be committed to continued professional development
What you will do:
• Gather further information on people’s needs.
• Assess people’s needs under Social Services and Well Being Act and Housing, Grants, Construction and Regeneration Act 1996.
• Record information accurately on the council’s ICT systems,
• Make appropriate referrals to partner agencies,
• Work with social work, housing and other teams and agencies to support a person to meet their outcomes.
This position has a requirement for an Enhanced DBS Check
