Our client is a long-established small-animal practice situated in the beautiful Cotswold town of Cheltenham Spa. This thriving and historic Regency spa town offers an excellent quality of life, with boutique shopping, independent cafés, vibrant restaurants, bars, and cultural attractions all close by.

The practice is seeking an experienced Veterinary Surgeon with a particular interest in surgery, who would enjoy the opportunity to work up their own cases with the full support of an experienced, collaborative team.

The successful candidate will join a friendly group working across two small-animal practices, located less than seven minutes apart. Both sites work closely together, sharing skills and expertise to deliver excellent clinical care. The veterinary team comprises five vets, including a surgery certificate holder, a colleague with a special interest in cardiology, and another with a keen focus on ophthalmology. They are supported by an excellent team of qualified veterinary nurses, SVNs, receptionists, and a HRVN who also holds a surgical certificate.

The practices are well-equipped with modern facilities, including laparoscopy for spays, a dedicated dental theatre, imaging suite, spacious wards, in-house laboratory, and a range of diagnostic equipment. Both sites are overseen by an experienced Practice Manager, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and excellent support for the team.

This is a full-time role, working four days per week with 1:4 Saturday mornings. There is no out-of-hours requirement. An excellent salary package is on offer, along with generous benefits and the chance to work with proactive, loyal clients in a welcoming and supportive team environment.
