SEN Teaching Assistant - SEN School

Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday
Pay: £90-£110 per day (depending on experience)
We are working with a specialist SEN school in Kensington, Merseyside, who are looking to appoint a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team this September. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a supportive and inclusive school that caters for pupils with a wide range of additional needs, including Autism (ASC), Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD), Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), and Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD).
The role will involve working both on a 1:1 basis and with small groups, supporting pupils to access the curriculum, develop their independence, and build social and emotional skills.
Key Responsibilities:

Requirements:

Previous experience working in a SEN school or provision

Knowledge of strategies such as Makaton, PECS, or visual timetables is desirable
