Machine Operator

Acorn by Synergie is recruiting on behalf of Harrier LLC, a leading print manufacturer in Newton Abbot. We are seeking Machine Operators to support the production of high-quality personalised products, including books, calendars, tiles and canvases.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a fast-paced production environment, with immediate starts and full training provided - no previous experience required.

Key Duties:
  • Operate and monitor print and finishing machinery.
  • Meet daily production targets and deadlines.
  • Carry out visual quality checks on finished products.
  • Maintain a clean and safe workspace.
Requirements:
  • Mechanically minded and confident using tools or machinery.
  • Able to stand for long periods and complete manual handling tasks.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Comfortable working to targets and deadlines.
  • Positive, team-focused attitude.
  • No previous experience required - full training provided.
Hours and Pay:
  • Day shifts: 7am - 7pm, rotating pattern (Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Saturday, Sunday | Week 2: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday).
  • Night shifts: 7pm - 7am, Sunday to Thursday.
  • Pay rates: £12.21 per hour (days) | £14.65 per hour (nights).
  • Enhanced weekend rates available.
