Summary
We are seeking a professional, organised, and friendly receptionist to join our team. This is a front-facing role ideal for someone who enjoys a mix of reception duties and administrative tasks. Experience working within an accountancy practice is advantageous.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the first point of contact, welcoming clients and visitors in a professional and courteous manner
Answer incoming telephone calls, handle enquiries, and direct calls appropriately
Provide secretarial support including the typing of letters, emails, and financial/accounting documents
Assist with the preparation and formatting of accounts and correspondence
Manage incoming and outgoing post, including opening, scanning, and distributing mail
Order and maintain office supplies, including stationery and cleaning equipment
Maintain a clean and tidy reception and communal office area
Provide general administrative support to partners and other team members as needed
Key Requirements:
Previous experience in a reception or secretarial role
Strong typing skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Highly organised with attention to detail
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately
Experience working in an accountancy practice is highly advantageous
