We are now looking for a passionate and experienced leader to join us in shaping the future of adult social work in Bath. About the Role We are recruiting for an Adult Social Care Social Work Service Lead. This is a management role overseeing social workers and social care practitioners within our Bath Locality Service. Key responsibilities include: Team and Service Management: Lead, develop, and manage adult social care teams, ensuring high-quality, efficient service delivery. Legislative Compliance: Ensure services meet legal frameworks, such as the Care Act 2014 and Mental Capacity Act 2005, as well as local and national policies. Safeguarding and Risk Management: Oversee the safeguarding of vulnerable adults and manage organizational risks related to service standards. Service Improvement: Analyse data to identify areas for improvement, develop strategies, and monitor service provision. Agency Collaboration: Work closely with other agencies and external providers to meet adult needs. This is a strategic and operational leadership role with real impact on service quality and outcomes.
