Summary


To support the Senior Medical Administrator in providing a comprehensive administrative service to the medical teams within the Bolton Adult Community Mental Health Team.

The Medical Administrator will undertake general office duties including the typing of medical and other correspondence, actioning any requirements identified within the typing. They will answer and manage calls from service uses and their carers / relatives and other health and social care professionals. They will book appointments for service users and send all relevant correspondence relating to service user appointments, ensuring all data is accurate and up to date.

Undertake audio/clerical duties for a team of medics and wider MDT team. Minute taking, audio typing of clinic letters and general correspondence to external agencies. Be the first point of contact for written and telephone enquiries on behalf of the medical team using judgement to establish priority. Booking of appointments and managing medics clinic diaries. Ensuring accurate and timely recording within the electronic patient record system (Paris)
