Assistant Support Worker - Candlemas Mead (£24,570pa)Are you passionate about making a positive impact in people’s lives? We are looking for a compassionate and dedicatedfull time Assistant Support Worker to join our friendly team at Candlemas Mead, a warm and welcoming supported living home for six adults aged 48-65.Each resident enjoys the privacy of their own en-suite room, and we work together to create a supportive, respectful, and empowering environment. Hoist training is required, and full support will be provided if you need to refresh or gain this skill. What You will Do:As an Assistant Support Worker, you will play a vital role in helping individuals live as independently as possible. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:Supporting with personal care in a dignified and respectful wayAid with the daily administration of medicationEncouraging life skills such as cooking, cleaning, shopping, and budgetingPromoting independence and helping residents achieve their personal goalsFollowing tailored support plans and risk assessments to ensure safety and wellbeingIt is essential that you are happy to do sleep-ins.
