Summary
Job Purpose
Reporting to the site Asset Care Manager, the role has primary responsibility for Engineering planning function, the advancement of Condition Based and Reliability centred maintenance techniques as part of the site Asset care plan, utilising the company Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS), SAP.
This role works with the Asset Care Manager and leads the Planners to develop appropriate Autonomous and Professional Maintenance plans, upload them into SAP and drive adherence to plan within the site.
As a part of the Engineering function, the role works with the site to strive to achieve optimal operational efficiency at the lowest cost through the delivery of targets against the strategic objectives of the function:

The role works closely with the Engineering Team Leaders, Manufacturing Operations and Production Planning, to ensure the delivery of both the production plan and the planned maintenance activity. In doing so they ensure their site is working to attain optimum efficiencies, effectiveness and profitability, initiating and implementing change as appropriate to meet the needs of the business.
Experience Required
· HNC/HND Caliber, hand-on experience in an operational and engineering environment with a track record of world class asset care implementation within the manufacturing sector.
· Strong grounding and understanding of advanced Asset Management techniques such as CBM and RCM.
· Demonstrable track record of achieving results/managing change.
· Strong operational grounding within a complex fast moving manufacturing environment.
· Operated within and familiar with implementation of the principles of World Class
· Manufacturing environments / Continuous Improvement methodologies.
· Experience of delivering results against financial targets, service levels and safety standards.
· Good knowledge of established manufacturing processes, with awareness of developing technologies and techniques.
· Good working knowledge of operating systems such as SAP, AutoCAD, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project.
· Good practical understanding of factory services (electricity, steam, compressed air, water etc.)
