About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for an Information Desk Assistant to join the Faculty Office within the Faculty of Health, Social Care and Medicine to deliver outstanding customer service.

As Information Desk Assistant, you will be responsible for the day to day running of the Information Desk and foyer area in the Faculty of Health, Social Care & Medicine Building and the Clinical Skills and Simulation Centre, providing front line service. You will provide a professional and welcoming first impression of the Faculty and have responsibility for a range of administrative duties, whilst providing an outstanding customer service, by acting as first point of contact to all enquiries and visitors.

The role will work closely with colleagues across the Faculty and University departments and will be aware of key processes and contacts to help resolve any requests where appropriate.

Working hours for this role are 08:30am – 16:30pm.

About You
As Information Desk Assistant, you will have:

Excellent communication skills both written and verbal and interpersonal skills
Front facing customer service experience
Experience using databases, word processing and spreadsheets for administration services
A flexible and positive approach to all work
Ability to work without direct supervision, exercise initiative and independent judgement
