What skills and experience we're looking for
The Deans Primary School is looking to appoint 2 enthusiastic and hardworking Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) to work within our mainstream classrooms, initially working in Key Stage 2. We believe all children deserve the very best and we are looking for professionals who have a passion for working with all children, including those with additional needs. We want someone who is caring, committed, has high aspirations and works well as part of a team. The appointed LSA will be responsible for supporting the learning and safeguarding of the children.
The Deans Primary School requires a Learning Support Assistant who:
• Is an excellent classroom practitioner;
• Values a teamwork approach;
• Has high standards of all pupils;
• Is committed to working with every child, including those who may need more support, to help them reach their potential: academically, socially and emotionally;
• Has the ability to form positive adult-pupil relationships;
• Will commit to building relationships with parents, carers and the wider community.
