Job Description
The Best Connection are currently recruiting for experienced 7.5T Drivers to work as part of a 2-person home delivery crew on behalf of our high-profile retail client. This is a fantastic opportunity for drivers looking for a physically active role with long-term potential and excellent earning opportunities.
You'll be responsible for delivering and installing a range of household items-such as furniture, kitchen appliances, TVs, and sound systems-direct to customers' homes, while providing exceptional service.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Deliver and install customer orders as part of a two-person crew
- Provide outstanding customer service and act professionally at all times
- Load and unload your vehicle with care, working with the warehouse team
- Assist the Installer where required
- Maintain a safe working environment and follow all health & safety procedures
- Represent our client's brand with professionalism and courtesy
⚠️ Please note: This is a physically demanding role involving heavy lifting of items such as sofas, beds, white goods, and other large items.
Pay & Benefits
- £13.56 per hour + holiday pay accrual
- £20.34 per hour overtime - paid after 41 hours weekly
- Full training and ongoing support provided

What You'll Need
✅ Essential:
- Valid UK C1 Driving Licence (up to 6 penalty points accepted)
- Driver CPC & Tachograph Card
- Experience driving a 7.5-tonne vehicle
- Previous experience in customer-facing roles
- Strong communication skills and a good understanding of technology
✅ Desirable:
- Experience with white goods installation/disconnection
- Flat-pack furniture assembly
Induction/Assessments available from w/c 6th October.
