Summary
The role: Your impact and responsibilities will include: Providing strategic leadership to the Psychology Service, embedding reflective practice and championing evidence-based approaches. Undertaking and overseeing comprehensive neuropsychological assessments, contributing to accurate diagnosis and the design of tailored rehabilitation programmes. Delivering and guiding a range of evidence-based interventions, including cognitive and mood therapies, and behaviour modification programmes utilising Positive Behaviour Support. Leading, supervising and developing psychology colleagues, including Clinical Psychologists and Assistant Psychologists, fostering a culture of growth and clinical excellence. Supporting and educating families and carers, while providing training and expertise to colleagues across the multidisciplinary team. Representing the service and organisation at patient reviews, discharge planning meetings, and professional forums or conferences, enhancing our reputation as a centre of excellence. Ensuring the highest standards of safeguarding, keeping people safe from harm and upholding their human rights at all times.
