We are seeking a passionate and dedicated English Teacher to join their dynamic and supportive team. The successful candidate will deliver high-quality English lessons to students up to KS5, fostering a love for literature, language, and critical thinking. You will play a key role in inspiring students to express themselves confidently and achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities
*Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging English lessons across a range of texts and genres
*Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support
*Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages discussion and creativity
*Manage behaviour effectively to ensure a focused and respectful learning space
*Collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative teaching strategies and resources
*Contribute to literacy initiatives, reading clubs, and whole-school events
Requirements
*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
*A degree in English, English Literature, or a related field
*Experience teaching English at secondary school level (KS3-KS5)
*Strong subject knowledge and a genuine passion for literature and language
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
*Ability to inspire and engage students of all abilities
*Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
