Job Title: Finisher (Painting & Plastering)
Location: Acomb, York
Pay Rate: £18 – £20 per hour

Job Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Finisher with strong skills in painting and plastering to join our team in Acomb, York. The ideal candidate will have an eye for detail and take pride in delivering a high-quality finish across a range of projects.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

• Carry out all aspects of finishing work, including plastering, patch repairs, and surface preparation.

  
  

• Apply paints, primers, sealers, and other finishes to walls, ceilings, and surfaces.

  
  

• Ensure surfaces are smooth, level, and properly prepared before painting or decorating.

  
  

• Mix and match paints to required specifications.

  
  

• Maintain clean, tidy, and safe working areas in line with health & safety requirements.

  
  

• Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards are met.

  
  

• Collaborate with site managers and other trades to complete projects on time.

  
  

• Perform touch-ups and final detailing to achieve a flawless finish.

  
  

  Requirements:

  • Proven experience in plastering and painting/finishing roles.

    
    

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work.

    
    

  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

    
    

  • Own tools and transport preferred.

    
    

  • CSCS card desirable but not essentiall
