Supported Housing Officer (Mental Health / Rough Sleepers / Care Leavers) – £27,820 per annum (rising to £28,932.80 after a successful completion of probation – Lewisham
The Role
Do you have experience supporting people with mental health needs? Are you confident working with individuals who may face complex challenges around housing and wellbeing?
Quo Vadis Trust is a housing charity based in South East London. We offer accommodation and tailored support to individuals with mental health needs, those who have experienced rough sleeping, and care leavers.
We are looking for a Supported Housing Officer to join our team in Lewisham. In this role, you will support adults with a range of mental health needs to rebuild their independence and move forward with their lives.
This is a full-time role, working 35 hours per week (Mon–Fri, 9am–5pm).
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage a caseload of clients with varying support needs
• Create tailored support plans and set achievable goals
• Welcome new clients, complete risk assessments and inductions
• Offer advice on welfare, housing and benefits
• Maintain accurate records using our client database
• Ensure housing properties are safe, clean and well-maintained
• Report maintenance and safeguarding concerns promptly
• Liaise with external agencies and attend meetings
• Provide cover across other housing schemes as required

The Person
We’re looking for someone who is:
• Experienced in working with vulnerable adults or in housing support
• Able to build trust and support clients in their recovery
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
• A good communicator, organised, and IT-literate
• Willing to travel across sites (a car and driving licence is required)
• DBS cleared or willing to undergo an enhanced DBS check
