About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Catering & Nutritional Team Leader to manage our catering teams across multiple sites. You will supervise staff, ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards, and deliver a high-quality catering service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage, supervise, and organise cooks and kitchen assistants.
- Ensure adequate staffing and deployment of catering staff.
- Implement recruitment, induction, training, and performance management processes.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, environmental health, and health and safety standards.
- Deliver nutritious meals that meet individual dietary and cultural requirements.
- Maintain clean and safe catering and dining environments.
- Respond to feedback from citizens and families regarding food and dining experiences.
- Support food-related social and leisure activities.
- Monitor budgets, manage stock, and procure quality food cost-effectively.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience in catering management, ideally in adult provision or similar settings.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Knowledge of food hygiene, safety, and nutrition standards.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Proactive, enthusiastic, and collaborative approach.
