Summary
Waste Operative Wanted – Oldham
Tudor Employment Agency is on the lookout for a dedicated Waste Operative to join our client’s team based in Oldham. This role involves safely managing waste operations under onsite procedures, in line with GSK’s guidelines â™»ï¸.
Pay Rate: £12.21 per hour
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 11am – 9pm
Key Responsibilities:
• ï¸ Routine collection and disposal of site waste
• Safe operation of forklift, pallet rider, van & mobile plant
• Maintain tidy workspaces and safe waste storage
• Assist with segregation, packaging & labelling of waste
• Support removal of waste to reduce stock build-up
• Monitor safety and ensure team compliance
• ✅ Complete daily vehicle & equipment checks
• Liaise with supervisors on operations & safety
• âš ï¸ Contribute to behavioural safety & near-miss reporting
• Help with general housekeeping tasks
• Sign duty of care & hazardous waste consignment notes
• Support teammates when needed
• Provide operational support across GSK sites in Hertfordshire & Essex
ï¸ Key Skills & Qualifications:
• ✅ Valid Forklift Licence
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Ability to work independently & use initiative
