Summary

The Fabric Engineer will provide a variety of building services engineering maintenance tasks to a variety of client properties throughout the Weybridge site.

Job Description

This will include carpentry and fabric related repairs, and basic plumbing, maintenance and installation. The emphasis is on providing a world class building services maintenance service.


Key Responsibilities

Responsibility for fabric related PPM, proactive and reactive works issued through the helpdesk within set timeframes so the customer expectations are exceeded.
Responsibility for other types of building services maintenance to include exterior works, plumbing, mechanical and carpentry related tasks.
External ground works maintenance duties.
To provide callout response for the client as detailed on the callout rota.
To undertake contractor control duties on behalf of the client, including monitoring of contractors and their workmanship, so that relevant standards are met. Issues of Permits to work.
To evaluate performance and ensure the proper servicing and maintenance of equipment under contract to the company is carried out.



Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications

Plumbing bias Fabric Engineer:
NVQ/City & Guilds or equivalent qualification in plumbing
NVQ/City & Guilds or equivalent qualification in HVAC, mechanical engineering or equivalent with plumbing qualifications
Carpentry bias Fabric Engineer:
NVQ/City & Guilds or equivalent qualification in carpentry or woodworking or related trade qualification OR time served multi trades operative who has considerable carpentry and joinery experience

Applicants who have served a recognised craft apprenticeship will be preferred.
IPAD / PASMA
Full UK Driving License
