Summary

Job Title: Multi-Skilled Operative - Plasterer
Salary: £36,051.38 per annum
Location: On site with base in Stafford
Hours: 40 hours per week, Permanent

We’re looking for an experienced Multi-Skilled Operative - Plasterer to join our Planned Works team. In this role, you’ll be carrying out high-quality plastering and maintenance work across our properties, helping us deliver safe, well-maintained homes and excellent service to our residents.

What you’ll do:

Carrying out all aspects of plastering, patching, and making good, as well as other related trades (carpentry, wet trades, building finishes).
Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard, on time, and in line with health and safety regulations.
Managing your workload effectively – from planning visits and using electronic job orders to keeping accurate records.
Maintaining tools, equipment, and van stock to ensure you’re always prepared for the job.
Working professionally in tenants’ homes, providing excellent customer service at all times.
Taking part in the out-of-hours rota when required.

What we’re looking for:

City & Guilds or NVQ Level 2 in plastering (or equivalent).
Substantial experience working at height and in planned maintenance/repairs.
Skills in related trades with the ability to “make good” to a high standard.
Strong knowledge of health & safety practices.
Ability to use tablets and electronic scheduling systems.
A full UK driving licence.
Excellent communication skills, a customer-focused approach, and the ability to plan your work effectively.
