Summary
This vacancy qualifies for a retention bonus of £1,000, payable to employees who remain employed and are not serving a notice period at the time the bonus is due.

Role Overview
As a Security Officer at G4S, you will be entrusted with responsibilities beyond those of a conventional Security Guard. Your role will encompass ensuring the safety and security of our customers, staff, their premises, and assets, while consistently delivering exceptional customer service. We are committed to maintaining a safe and secure environment and pride ourselves on adherence to stringent policies and regulatory requirements.
It's a varied role that includes greeting staff and visitors and ensuring they adhere to the required security protocols, conducting searches where required, patrolling the premises and dealing with security incidents. Our Perfect Worker
A valid SIA badge is a prerequisite. Prior security experience is advantageous. While a CCTV operator's license is desirable, it is not mandatory, as training can be provided.
Applicants must be 18 years of age or older, possess strong communication skills, demonstrate teamwork, and be committed to delivering a consistently friendly and professional service. Proficiency in IT is essential, as is a robust security mindset.
Candidates must exhibit flexibility and be available to work a varied shift pattern, encompassing days, nights, and weekends. Opportunities for additional shifts to cover sickness and annual leave are also available.
