About the Role

Mitie is proud to work in partnership with the London Fire Brigade, delivering high-quality facilities management services that help keep London's critical services running smoothly. We are now looking for a professional, welcoming, and proactive Corporate Receptionist to join our on-site team.

As the first point of contact for staff, visitors, contractors, and stakeholders, you will represent both Mitie and the London Fire Brigade to the highest standard. You'll play a key role in ensuring a professional and efficient front-of-house experience, maintaining a safe, secure, and friendly environment.

Key Responsibilities

-Provide a warm, courteous, and professional welcome to all visitors and staff.

-Manage the reception area, ensuring it is always clean, organised, and presentable.

-Maintain visitor logs, issue passes, and enforce security protocols where required.

-Liaise with internal departments, including property, security, and senior management.

-Manage bookings for meeting rooms and ensure spaces are prepared as required.

-Support with administrative tasks and other duties as required by the Soft Services Manager or Building Manager.

-Undertake Fire Warden Duties in accordance with agreed processes.

-Act in accordance with all health and safety and security policies.

Essential Skills & Experience

-Previous experience in a receptionist, front-of-house, or customer service role.

-Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

-Strong interpersonal skills with a positive, approachable attitude.

-Professional appearance and demeanour.

-Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel).

-Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

-Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

-SIA Door Supervisor license is essential.
