Summary
Expressions of interest for this post are invited from suitability qualified individuals. The successful candidate should have teaching experience and/or substantial experience of managing a learning programme.
The post is suitable for someone who is looking to develop their career by assisting in the management of a busy and vibrant college site. Knowledge of preparing, delivering and managing programmes to learners with autism is essential. Candidates should be able to demonstrate the following skills, experience and qualities:
•A thorough understanding of the components of high-quality teaching and learning, ideally gained via their own good and outstanding practice
•Must be able to work as part of a team - working closely with other members of the College Management and Senior Management whilst supporting both tutors and LSAs
•Must be very well organised, motivated and able to meet deadlines
•A keen solution focused problem solver
•A commitment to sharing and developing best practice in teaching, learning and assessment.
Responsibilities and duties will include:
•Ensure best practice is maintained in conjunction with ESPA College Policies and Procedures and relevant company policies.
•Contribute to the monitoring and reviewing of staff and assisting in their Continuing Professional Development.
•Work to ESPA College guidelines and policy for Safeguarding procedures to ensure safety of students. Work to ESPA College policy on Diversity and Inclusion.
•Assist in the coordination of RARPA, positive learner outcomes and ensuring EHCP’s are regularly monitored and updated.
•Contribute to the day to day running of a busy college site including managing reviews and devolved responsibilities such as monitoring health and safety, completion of shift work records and the management of staff a team.
