Summary

The main duties of the post holder include: The provision of brief psychological interventions under supervision of a qualified Clinical Associate Psychologist or Clinical or Counselling Psychologist. Supporting the psychology team in developing individual and group intervention and training materials. Collecting, analysing and presenting data relating to the activity of the psychology workforce, such as demand and capacity and clinical effectiveness. Contributing to ongoing quality improvement, audit, evaluation and research activity. Working under the supervision of a qualified Clinical Associate Psychologist or Clinical or Counselling Psychologist and within professional guidelines of conducts and ethics and the overall framework of organisational policies and procedures. Gaining applied experience in this healthcare setting whilst assisting with the work of clinical supervisor, the activity of the psychological workforce and the wider multi-disciplinary service.
