Summary

The Mental Health Support Team Administrator role will provide full administrative support to our MHSTs. This will require you to be comfortable carrying out a range of duties, some which may be at short notice. Tasks will include: Providing administrative support for the MHST, including taking minutes, writing letters, formatting and proofreading clinical letters, booking rooms, organising meetings and organising the team; Supporting and managing the patient referral process for the team; Using our electronic patient management system (SystmOne) to register, process, check, update and discharge patients; Maintaining and updating accurate patient records in accordance with standard operating procedures including scanning, filing, and typing; Implementing processes and practices to ensure best practice within your team and the wider service; Ensuring all contact details are kept up to date; Producing information and data relating to the services relating to this department, as required; Answering and directing phone calls and emails; The Mental Health Support Team Administrator is required to: Demonstrate excellent IT skills across Microsoft Office applications and attention to detail; Prioritise their own workload and be organised to meet deadlines and the needs of their team and the wider service; Work on their own initiative and demonstrate a willingness to help others as a key member of the team. Therefore, the ability to demonstrate empathy and respect for others, build effective relationships, and have a flexible approach to work is essential; Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a friendly and professional manner; Fully understand and work in a manner that recognises the importance of confidentiality and the sensitive nature of the information that is being stored or shared;
