Here’s more about the role and what we’re looking for:
The Estates and Facilities management team are looking for a friendly, outgoing and approachable individual to work with four other Building Fabric Surveyors in the team to deliver building technical support to the wider organisation.
The successful candidate will design, tender, procure and deliver long term maintenance and campus wide projects across the Loughborough University campus. Including taking responsibility for projects and ensuring minimum compliance and Loughborough standards are met. While ensuring management of budget responsibility for works undertaken and to provide updates of progress.
You will be a skilled communicator with a confidence to manage the control of contractors employed on your projects and able to work professionally with colleagues from all areas of the university, such as schools, professional services, campus living, sports teams and tenants to deliver to our structured programme and delivery schedule.
Key Requirements:
NEBOSH National General Certificate
NVQ4 in a related field
HNC/HND in a construction related discipline or equivalent
Excellent communication skills both verbally with colleagues and contractors and when writing reports and presenting
Excellent IT skills and experience working with MS Excel, MS Word, NBS and AutoCAD
