Summary

About the role:
As a support worker, you’ll deliver excellent care, celebrate achievements, encourage fun and creativity and engage directly with the wider community. This is more than just a job – you will be helping the people we support gain independence and live healthy, happy and fulfilling lives.

This service is a fun and loving supported living service with lots of opportunity for creativity. The people we support love to get involved with arts and crafts and be creative. There is always a radio playing which often leads to lots of singing and dancing.

You will support some of the people we support to day centres to assist them with being involved in interesting and meaningful activities in the community. One day you could be travelling by bus to Bromley, Bexleyheath or Croydon for shopping, or maybe catch a train to London to see theatre shows or visit museums. The next you could be having a cup of tea and a chat in the local café. No two days are the same.

A driver is required for this role, and must be confident driving the people we supports mobility vehicles. (Automatic)

Hours:
1 part time position (20 hours) & 1 full time position (39 hours) available.

9am – 10pm
sleep in 10pm – 7am
9am to 9am including the sleep in, 9am to 9pm, 9:30am – 4:30pm, 10am-6pm, 10am-10pm and waking night 9pm to 10am.

You will be required to work alternate weekends.

Location:
This service is located between Bromley and Chislehurst. Situated on a main bus route with off street parking.
