Advanced Community Occupational Therapist/Base – Upton, Slough/0.6wtepart time / no ‘On call’ or weekend work / MSc level training supported / Free staff parking. We havean exciting Band 7 opportunity within ourIntegrated Servicesbased atUptonHospitalacross CommunityandAssessment and RehabilitationinEastBerkshire,andarelooking to recruit an enthusiastic and innovative candidate.


For this post you will need to havegood,solid experience of working as an Occupational Therapistinthe rehabilitation of older adultsat Band 6 level. A good working knowledge of how the different community, primary and secondary care services, LocalAuthoritiesand voluntary services work together is also key. The post will involve a mixture of clinical and management duties.


As well as working clinically, this post willsupport the implementation of Occupational Therapy within the Integrated Services East, promoting learning, serviceinnovationand leadership.


To be successful in this position you will need the ability to work independently and as a team player;You will work closely with the Integrated Services locality leads andalongsideother community services leads and theIntegrated Service manager.




• Effectively runCommunityOccupational Therapy servicesin terms ofservice implementation

• Take on a caseload of CommunityOccupational Therapypatients

• Support in the training ofclinical staff

• Contribute to and help implement service development
