TU Online Ltd is a wholly owned subsidiary of Teesside University with a dedicated focus upon providing flexible online learning opportunities across a range of one hundred percent online courses, from degrees to doctorates.

TU Online Ltd is looking for an online Tutor to support and deliver teaching upon the 100% online MA Trauma Informed Practice.

Successful candidates will be expected to have at least a Masters or equivalent within a relevant field and subject area, plus relevant and substantial experience within a trauma informed practice such as occupational therapy, education, social work and/or healthcare.

To be considered for the role you will have conducted project supervision, and you will be able to support students within their research and within the development of the academic skills required to undertake a Masters.

Candidates will be expected to have an appreciation of how adults learn, an appreciation of study skills and a commitment to student-centred learning.

The successful applicant will have the ability and willingness to promote the learning of adults through online based tuition methods and the ability to use information and communication technology in teaching and supporting students.

Candidates will be expected to possess experience in best practice online teaching and pedagogy. It would be desirable to have experience in, virtual learning environments / learner management systems and the higher education sector too.

The successful candidate would also be expected to contribute to the development of course content and materials under the direction of the course team.

The role is predominantly remote, however there is an expectation for the successful candidate to attend our Middlesborough campus in order to collect IT equipment and take part in training from time to time.
