Summary

We are recruiting an Adult Tutor at Caerphilly County Borough Council.

Working hours: 0
Contract Type: Casual / Relief
Location: Oxford House

Team: Adult Community Learning


This position offers an excellent opportunity to become part of our team and provide support across the organization.

We pay an attractive salary of £16.35 per hour and offer access to training and development opportunities.

Tutors will be expected to plan, prepare and deliver their chosen subject to groups of adult learners in a variety of locations. Key tasks include:



Plan, prepare and deliver courses to groups of adult learners in a variety of locations.



Complete quality paperwork, as requested.



Complete accreditation with adult learners, as appropriate.



Work as part of the ACL tutor team.



For the role, we ask that you have:

A Teaching qualification (preferably PGCE/Cert Ed/B Ed)
Excellent literacy and numeracy skills
Experience in delivering learning programmes to adults, as appropriate
Full UK Category B (Cars) driving licence and the use of a motor vehicle insured for business/work purposes to travel throughout the borough to provide classes
