Summary
In our Student Service Centre we help students navigate their whole journey, providing a coherent route and common experience for all student enquiries. Offering information and access to services covering all aspects of student life; from academic and learning resources to financial, physical and mental wellbeing through to residential and all other aspects of student life.
We are seeking to appoint an Enquiry and Disability Support Librarian. Working as part of a team of Enquiry and Disability Support Librarians, led by the Enquiry and Disability Services Librarian, you will provide direct enquiry support for a diverse range of library users both online and in person.
This role will be based at the Frenchay library but will also work at our Glenside and Bower Ashton libraries weekly to provide support for the teams there. You will act as a line manager for staff, monitoring and allocating work, supporting the induction and training of new staff and carrying out performance development reviews.
Your role will also be vital in building relationships with other colleagues and services at the University, sharing information and ensuring that our students have the best possible journey during their time at university.

Where is this role based?
This post is based at our lively Frenchay campus where we have invested in the latest facilities and resources to give both our staff and students access to everything they need to succeed.
You would also work regularly at our City Campus in Bristol city centre which comprises of Bower Ashton Studios, Arnolfini, Spike Island and Watershed and is home to UWE Bristol's creative and cultural subjects and our Glenside Campus which is set within beautiful grounds in Stapleton, just three miles north east of Bristol City Centre.

This is a full-time, permanent post, working 37 hours per week.
