Are you motivated by the idea of supporting young people with additional needs to thrive both in and out of the classroom? Long Term Futures is working with a specialist college in Coventry that provides education and care for learners aged 16-25 with autism, physical disabilities, and a wide range of learning difficulties.

We are seeking a compassionate and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join the team and provide tailored support that helps students gain independence, build confidence, and achieve their academic and personal goals.

Your Role
- Work 1:1 and in small groups to help students engage with their studies
- Encourage independence in learning as well as in everyday routines
- Support differentiated activities to ensure lessons are accessible and inspiring for all
- Assist with social, emotional, and communication development
- Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and other staff to deliver joined-up, holistic support

What We're Looking For
- Previous experience supporting young people with additional needs (post-16 experience an advantage but not essential)
- A caring, patient, and adaptable approach
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships
- Confidence in encouraging independence and using positive behaviour strategies
- A Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification would be welcomed, but transferable experience is equally valued
