We're recruiting for a high-calibre Receptionist/Administrator to join a dynamic and fast-paced educational setting in Croydon. This long-term, full-time role begins mid- October 2025 and runs Monday to Friday, 8:00am-4:00pm during term time only.
You'll be joining a high-performing office team known for its professionalism, warmth, and precision. The team plays a pivotal role in shaping the school's culture-welcoming families, supporting staff, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
About the Role
As Receptionist/Administrator, you'll be the face of the school-delivering exceptional front-of-house service while managing key administrative tasks. You'll work closely with the Office Manager to uphold high standards and ensure every interaction reflects the school's ethos.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide a professional and welcoming reception service
- Deliver accurate and efficient administrative support
- Liaise confidently with students, staff, parents/carers, and visitors
- Maintain confidentiality and uphold safeguarding protocols
Essential Requirements
- Proficiency in Bromcom (this is non-negotiable)
- Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service
- Right to work in the UK
- Minimum Grade C (or equivalent) in GCSE English and Maths
- Strong IT skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Excellent organisation, prioritisation, and time management
- Professionalism, empathy, and resilience in a busy environment
