Role Overview - Graduate Learning Support Assistant
As a Graduate Learning Support Assistant, you will:
• Support pupils from Primary to GCSE level with a variety of needs including Autism, ADHD, Social, Emotional & Mental Health (SEMH), Speech & Language Difficulties, Moderate to Severe Learning Difficulties (MLD/SLD), and sensory/physical needs.
• Provide 1:1 and small group support, helping students access the curriculum and develop independence, confidence, and social skills.
• Work closely with teachers and therapists to adapt activities and promote inclusion in the classroom.
• Encourage resilience and positive engagement in both academic and personal development.

Candidate Profile - Graduate Learning Support Assistant
• A minimum 2:1 degree – particularly relevant in Psychology, Education, or related fields.
• Passionate about supporting children and young people with additional needs.
• Patient, flexible, and resilient when faced with challenges.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Previous experience working with children or SEN (through schools, care, or youth work) is an advantage but not essential.
• Must have the right to work in the UK (no sponsorship available).
