Learning Support Assistant at Westwood C P SchoolFixed Term Contract: Until 31st March 2026
25 hours (38 weeks term time only)
Weekly hours: Monday to Friday 09:00 – 15:00 (1 hour lunchbreak)
SCP Range: 2-4

Employment Start Date: ASAP subject to relevant checks and clearances
The Head Teacher and Governing Body are seeking a reliable, nurturing and hardworking 1.2 Learning Support Assistant to work directly with a pupil with medical needs as well as with small groups of children supporting learning and behaviour.Closing Date: Friday 10th October 2025 Interview Dates: Wednesday 15th October (pm) / Friday 17th October 2025
As this post will result in you having substantial contact with children, and/or vulnerable adults the successful applicant will be subject to a Disclosure and Barring Services check. With effect from 1 April 2016 it is a legal requirement for some categories of support staff to be registered with the Education Workforce Council for Wales.
