Summary
Hours: 28 hours and 20 minutes per week, term time only. Monday to Friday, 8:40am – 15.20pm (with 1 hour lunch break)Salary: Hay 10 (£25992 - £27269 FTE per annum)Term Time only including 5 inset daysThis is a temporary position until August 2027 starting ASAP, this contract will end if EHCP funding ceases, or the child leaves the school.We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, child-centred and proactive Teaching Assistant to become part of our new and exciting SEN team to support learners within upper KS2 to be successful, confident and independent individuals.
This particular role will involve closely supporting an individual in receipt of an Education Health Care plan as well as running interventions for small groups to enable all to be successful within learning. We are looking for a candidate who has particular skills in the following areas:• Establishing strong, fun and supportive relationships with children
• An understanding and experience of supporting and championing learners with Autistic traits and social communication needs
• Experience in supporting children with social, emotional and mental health difficulties
• Is able to support young people to regulate emotions
• Can support learners to manage difficulties with focus and concentration
• Able to support learners to develop self-confidence and resilience
