Summary

The Best Connection are seeking to recruit HGV Class 1 (LGV C+E) Drivers to work with their client based in Darlington. The role involves handling containers, fridgers, and general haulage, offering a variety of runs across the UK.

The Role:

  • Transporting containers, fridged trailers, and general haulage across the UK.

  • Early start times between 02:00 and 03:00.

  • Occasional nights out required.

  • Regular Class 1 driver weekend work available.

The Candidate:

  • Must hold a valid HGV Class 1 (Cat C+E) license.

  • In-date CPC and digi card.

  • Minimum 2 years' experience preferred.

  • Reliable and professional appearance.

  • Good communication skills and positive attitude.

Hours of Work:

  • Early starts between 02:00 and 03:00.

  • Occasional night shifts.

  • Weekend support required, with Class 1 driver weekend work offered alongside Monday to Friday shifts.

Pay Rates:

  • £18.00 per hour Saturday.

  • £19.00 per hour Sunday.

  • £15.00 per hour Monday to Friday.

  • £25.00 night out allowance.
