Summary

Maintenance Technician

Birmingham

Monday - Friday

My client are a part of a well known manufacturing in Birmingham. They have the most modern technology, innovative machinery and are looking for a maintenance technician with mechanical and electrical maintenance experience of automated production lines.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Conducting preventative according to scheduled maintenance plans
  • Reacting to machine breakdowns quickly to optimise plant efficiency
  • Maintaining mechanical and electrical systems including PLCs, Pneumatics, Hydraulics and process equipment
  • Assisting production operators with light machine maintenance

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

  • Experience as a maintenance engineer in an automated environment
  • Robotic maintenance experience/knowledge
  • PLC fault-finding experience
  • Knowledge of Hydraulics and Pneumatics
  • NVQ / Apprenticeship trained (Beneficial)
