Summary
Position: Welder Fabricator
Location: Rotherham, S61
Hours: Monday to Friday, day shifts
Pay Rate: £16.00 per hr
We are seeking an experienced Welder Fabricator to join our skilled team at a leading steel fabrication specialist based in Rotherham. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a variety of bespoke metal fabrication projects in a well-equipped workshop environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
- Fabricate and assemble mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminium components
- Perform high-quality MIG welding (TIG welding experience advantageous)
- Operate workshop equipment such as saws, drills, and press brakes
- Ensure all work meets quality and safety standards
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Welder Fabricator in a fabrication or engineering environment
- Strong MIG welding skills and ability to work from technical drawings
- Good understanding of health and safety practices
- Positive attitude and ability to work independently or as part of a team
