Summary

Hours: Variable Hours Hourly Rate for Category 1 Work : £27.20-£32.30 Consolidated rate hourly pay range: £66.00-£78.79 (inclusive of all main elements of our Academic Workloading Framework Cat 1 (direct teaching) plus Cat 2 (teaching related) hours plus Cat 3, plus holiday pay. ABOUT THE ROLE Are you passionate about shaping the next generation of nurses? Were looking for three student-focused Associate Lecturers to join our Nursing programme. In this role, youll teach, assess, and support students as they prepare for a rewarding career in nursing. Youll be part of a collaborative academic team and have access to our state-of-the-art simulation ward. There are also opportunities to supervise student research projects and contribute to curriculum development. Were particularly interested in professionals who can deliver engaging lectures and seminars, and provide research supervision across the Nursing and public Health programmes especially in the clinical simulation teaching. ABOUT YOU To be successful in this role, you will need to have NMC registration as an Adult Nurse and proven experience of teaching within a higher education or clinical setting. You should be able to connect academic content to practical settings through excellent communication and presentation skills. We are looking for someone with substantial experience in both online and face-to-face teaching, and who is confident using digital tools and platforms to enhance learning. Experience in simulation teaching/nursing skills teaching and supervising student research projects would be advantageous. To ensure high-quality teaching and student support, were looking for someone who is available to teach on campus at least two days per week.
