Summary
Together with the wider perinatal service, the Lotus team was awarded Team of the Year in the NSFT Staff Excellence Awards 2022. We are a small, dedicated team comprising of Clinical Psychologists, Peer Support Workers and Specialist Midwives, offering specialist assessment and psychological interventions to women and birthing people who have experienced mental health difficulties relating to their perinatal experience, including: birth trauma, fear of childbirth (Tokophobia), pregnancy loss or death of a baby, and separation from their baby due to Childrens Services involvement. We are looking for a Clinical/Counselling Psychologist, who is highly experienced at working with individuals with complex or single event trauma and/or loss to join our supportive and passionate team. Previous experience of working with this client group is desirable but not essential, as is training and experience in delivering either Trauma-focused CBT or EMDR.
