Responsibilities
• Conduct thorough consultations with clients to understand their specific needs and health conditions.
• Perform a variety of massage techniques, including Swedish, deep tissue, and sports massage, ensuring each session is customised for optimal results.
• Maintain a clean and welcoming treatment environment, adhering to hygiene standards and protocols.
• Keep accurate records of client treatments and progress while respecting confidentiality.
• Educate clients on the benefits of massage therapy and provide guidance on self-care practices.
• Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in massage techniques through continuous professional development.
Requirements
• Valid certification or licensure in massage therapy from an accredited institution.
• Strong knowledge of human anatomy and physiology to effectively address client concerns.
• Have a NVQ Level 2 or 3 Certificate in Sports Massage Therapy
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
• A compassionate approach with a focus on client comfort and satisfaction.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends as needed.
