Summary
Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Warehouse Supervisor to oversee our warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a comprehensive understanding of warehouse management processes. This role is essential for ensuring efficient logistics, materials handling, and the overall productivity of the warehouse team.
Duties
* Initiate stock control at the first instance at our site, as we currently have no stock control process in place, familiarity with Lean Supervisory principles would be beneficial.
* This will involve working with the team to identify stock that is required to be located at the new offices, waste to be disposed of etc
* Overseeing all aspects of our warehouse operations, goods in, goods out and stock accuracy.
* Monitoring and reporting issues with stock control and logistics control.
* Maintain warehouse systems to optimise inventory control and logistics.
* Conduct regular audits of warehouse processes to identify areas for continuous improvement.
* Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, shipments and other relevant data.
* Maintaining a productive workplace, uploading Health and Safety Standards.

* Proven experience in warehouse supervision or a similar role within logistics or supply chain environments.
* Familiarity with forklift operations would be an advantage.
* Experience with transportation systems is preferred.
* Excellent organisational skills with a strong attention to detail.
