The School of Life and Health Sciences at the University of Roehampton is a rapidly growing provider of biomedical and healthcare education, offering established Life Sciences programmes alongside nursing and allied health courses. The Role

The University of Roehampton is recruiting to the role of Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in clinical neuroscience to join our thriving School of Life and Health Sciences. This is an exciting time to join the team and play a key role in supporting the expansion of biomedical science education within the School. The postholder will contribute to our high-quality teaching and research provision, helping to inspire the next generation of biomedical and clinical scientists. In addition to neuroscience, we particularly welcome applicants who can contribute to pharmacology, and core biomedical science modules at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. We are keen to hear from those with extensive experience in higher education with established research profile looking for opportunities to progress their career in academia through leadership and make a difference. The successful candidate will work closely with an enthusiastic multi-disciplinary team to effectively deliver biomedical science education within the School, supporting a positive, collaborative, and inclusive community for all.

Key responsibilities of this role will include taking a leading role in the organisation of education development and delivery; taking a professional lead, ensuring compliance with university and PSRB regulations, requirements and quality processes; and designing and contributing to teaching and learning activities across life sciences and the wider healthcare programmes. Experience in areas such as immunology, and toxicology are desirable in this appointment to contribute to our biomedical and neuroscience programmes.
