We are looking for a Lead Care and Support Worker to work within Cysgod y Gaer Residential Care Centre.
The successful candidate will provide day to day support to the Care Centre Manager, in being responsible and accountable for the leadership of the Team/Service. The post holder will also be expected to deliver direct care and support on a regular basis as well as providing cover for sickness and other unplanned absences. A flexible attitude to the working week is required and there is a requirement to work weekends and night shifts as and when required.
Cysgod y Gaer Residential Care Centre provides a safe homely and person centred environment. The residential home is citizens home, citizens can expect to receive a full package of care which is person centred. We have a strong focus on choice and control within our services and all support provided will be citizen led. The home delivers care service 24 hours a day 365 days a year. The care that we provide must be delivered to the highest standard and ensure dignity is maintained at all times.
