Summary
For further information on this role, please see the attached detailed Job Description and Person Specification To provide excellent customer service to patients and their carers presenting at the pharmacy research hatch and on the telephone To work closely with the pharmacy clinical trials dispensing team to ensure patient waiting times are kept to a minimum, liaising with appropriate staff when necessary To assist in the co-ordination of the receipt, storage and supply of clinical trial medication within the Pharmacy Department. To provide clerical support for the Senior Technicians Clinical Trials, Deputy Chief Technicians Clinical Trials, Chief Technician Clinical Trials, Specialist Pharmacist Clinical Trials and Lead Pharmacist Clinical Trials as required. To assist with the maintenance of adequate stock levels of medication including ordering of stock to ensure uninterrupted dosing and recruitment. To be responsible for accurately recording patient returns on Drug Accountability Forms and fill in Destruction Forms once approved by the sponsor. To be responsible for the daily temperature monitoring and for maintaining temperature records.
