- MIG weld mild steel from 1 mm+, small and large fabrications
- Square, clamp, and check to 1 mm tolerances with sensible measuring
- Dress, fettle, and finish to a clean standard
- Lend a hand across the bay to keep jobs moving
Key skills for a MIG Welder Fabricator
- Confident MIG basics on mild steel, improvers considered
- Able to read drawings and measure accurately to 1 mm
- Comfortable switching between small parts and bigger assemblies
- Pride in neat welds, tidy work area, and getting first time right
