Summary
The Main duties of the Sister/Charge nurse are to co-ordinate the shift whilst maintaining a calm and professional attitude. You will help in the day to day running of the unit, whilst helping to support the team around you to be able to deliver a high standard of care. The expectation will be that the role will be used to support the Ward Manager and other Band 6 colleagues and take on active Leadership roles including sickness management, appraisals and staff support after a period of induction and training.
