About the Role:
As a Support Worker, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the health, safety, and happiness of our residents. From supporting with personal care and healthcare needs to encouraging independence and engaging in meaningful activities, every day is varied and rewarding. You’ll be part of a caring team that values compassion, professionalism, and person-centred care.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Supporting residents with daily living needs including personal care, bathing, dressing, continence, and nutrition.
Assisting with healthcare tasks such as taking observations (after training).
Engaging residents in meaningful activities that promote wellbeing.
Supporting with meals and refreshments, and assisting our catering and housekeeping teams when needed.
Ensuring residents’ care plans are followed, updated, and tailored to their individual needs.
Maintaining accurate records and following all policies, procedures, and regulations.
Supporting residents with palliative and end-of-life care in a compassionate way.
Welcoming visitors, answering calls, and representing the home in a warm, professional manner.

What We’re Looking For:
Registration with the SSSC (or willingness to achieve this).
PVG registered (or willing to apply).
Awareness and understanding of the SSSC Code of Practice.
A caring, respectful, and professional approach to work.
Good communication skills, with the ability to adapt to different needs.
A team player who values confidentiality, dignity, and compassion.
