We\\'re looking for a dedicated Junior Sous Chef to join our talented team at London’s new entertainment district at ExCel London. Immerse LDN is dedicated to showcasing world-class immersive experiences and original productions across brand-new purpose-built venue space in the heart of London’s Royal Docks – set to the backdrop of ExCeL London’s waterfront.

The Waterfront Street Kitchen and Bar offers a fresh and modern street food dining experience. Nestled in a brand-new, casual, contemporary space, this venue has been designed to make the most of our unique waterfront location within the Royal Docks.

Junior Sous Chef - the role

  • Improving in food preparation and presentation
  • Maintaining high food quality standards through tastings and refining techniques
  • Managing the stock take process
  • Assisting in project management for upcoming events
  • Assisting with the preparation of labour planners and staff rotas
  • Providing ongoing support to the Head Chef in managing day-to-day operations, including food cost control, labour cost management, and reducing waste

What we\\'re looking for

  • Proven experience as a Chef De Partie/Junior Sous Chef equivalent role with a strong culinary background
  • Demonstrated skill in preparing a diverse range of high-quality dishes.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills
  • In-depth knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations
  • A creative approach to menu planning and presentation
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekend
  • Genuine interest and enthusiasm for working in the events industry
